Departure from Pearson International
Airport with Air Transat.
Sept. 17: Arrival in Lamezia Terme (Calabria)
and proceed for Crotone, home of Pythagoras.
On route visit Capo Colonna, a Magna
Graecia colony and Le Castella. Check-in
Costa Tiziana Hotel. In the evening
enjoy a stroll along the Boardwalk

Sept. 18:
After breakfast, guided tour of local
vineyards accompanied by local producers,
assisting and participating in the grapes
harvest.
Spend the afternoon at the sea and/or
visit Pecorino Crotonese cheese factory.
Time permitting visit Santa Severina.
Dinner at hotel , passeggiata lungomare
after dinner.

Sept. 19:
After breakfast check-out and proceed
for Siderno and check in Hotel Gran
Presidente.
On route admire the Ionian Sea and the
Serre mountains; Stops in Catanzaro
Lido and Soverato.
In the evening, stroll along the Siderno
lungomare with the locals or relax at
the gelaterias.

Sept. 20: After breakfast, visit the
Cantine Bianco, one of the oldest produced
wines in Calabria dating back to
Magna Graecia. Then our journey will
take us to Gerace " the Florence
of the south" with it's spectacular
Cathedral.
Rest of the day leisure at the sea.

Sept. 21:
After breakfast, depart for Sicily crossing
the imposing Strait of Messina; visit
enchanting Taormina, the pearl of the
Mediterranean with its quaint streets
and wonderful view and most preserved
Greek-Roman Amphitheatre.
Time permitting, stop in Reggio Calabria
and stroll along the boardwalk, "the
best Kilometer" in the world with
the spectacular view of Sicily. Time
permitting visit the famous Bronzi di
Riace (optional) and shopping along
the fashion district of Reggio.

Sept. 22:
After breakfast, we will visit the STATTI
vineyards nestled along the slopes overlooking
the Tyrrhenian Sea.
In the afternoon, we will visit enchanting
Tropea, located on the Coast of Gods
stop in Pizzo and view the Murat Castle,
the residence of the former kingdoms
of Napoleon and the piazza, a "salotto"
with captivating vistas.

Sept. 23: Today you will explore local
historical attractions, experience local
arts and crafts, savour local delicacies,
and visit local producing products,
and/or enjoy the Mediterranean by the
beachside, or enjoy last minute shopping.

24: After breakfast group departure
for the airport of Lamezia Terme or
continue your journey in Italy.
