Sep 19, Day 1 – Toronto to Lamezia Terme, Italy
Evening flight to Lamezia (via Rome), via Alitalia. In-flight Meal Service

Sep 20, Day 2 – Lamezia Terme, Crotone Arrival Lamezia Terme.
Transfer to Crotone, home of Pythagoras. On route, visit the Sanctuary of St.Francesco di Paola, the patron saint of Calabria. Cross the majestic and tranquil Sila Mountains dotted with quaint villages. Hotel check-in, dinner & overnight at Hotel Helios.

Sep 21, Day 3 – Crotone
After breakfast,  enjoy a guided tour of local vineyards in the world-renown Ciro` district, accompanied by local producers. Spend the afternoon by the sea. and/or visit Pecorino Crotonese Cheese Factory. Dinner & overnight at Hotel Helios.

Sep 22, Day 4 – Crotone, Siderno
After breakfast  check-out and proceed for Siderno. On route visit Capo Colonna, a Magna-Graecia colony and Le Castella, an early Greek settlement. Along the way admire the Ionian Sea and the Serre Mountains. Lunch at leisure. Upon arrival at your hotel, take time to relax by the beach, at the pool or in the garden.  Dinner & overnight at Grand Hotel President.

Sep 23, Day 5 – Siderno, Gerace
After breakfast,  visit Cantine Bianco, one of the oldest produced wines in Calabria dating back to Magna Graecia. In the afternoon  visit Gerace “the Florence of the south” & its spectacular 12th century Cathedral. Dinner & overnight at Grand Hotel President.

Sep 24, Day 6 – Siderno, Reggio, Taormina, Vibo Valentia
After breakfast, check out and depart for Reggio Calabria
for a visit of the "Bronzi di Riace". Take a stroll along the boardwalk, known for "the best kilometre" in the world which boasts spectacular views of Sicily and/or shop along the fashion district. On to Sicily crossing the Strait of Messina. Visit Taormina, the pearl of the Mediterranean with its quaint streets and wonderful vistas and most preserved  Greek-Roman Amphitheatre. Return to Calabria for dinner & overnight at Hotel 501  in Vibo Valentia.

Sep 25, Day 7 – Vibo Valentia, Cosenza
Pizzo After breakfast,  enjoy a stroll along the fashion district of the City of Cosenza, located at the foothills of the Sila Mountains. In the afternoon,  visit the state of the art "Cantine Statti" with its vineyards  nestled along the slopes overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea (optional lunch not included). Before arriving at hotel, a brief visit of Pizzo and view the Murat Castle, the residence of the former kingdoms of Napoleon and the breathtaking piazza.
Dinner & overnight at Hotel 501.

Sep 26, Day 8 – Vibo Valentia, Tropea, Soriano
After breakfast,  transfer to Tropea - the pearl of the Mediterranean and the most renowned  tourist attraction of Calabria. Stopping at Santa Croce Flower Plant, the most technologically-advanced flower producing venue in Europe. Visit San Domenico Convent in Soriano, the largest religious convent in Southern Italy dating back to the 15th century. Return to Hotel 501 for farewell dinner & overnight.

Sep 27, Day 9 – Lamezia Term, Italy to Toronto
After breakfast, check out and transfer to Lamezia Terme Airport for your return Alitalia flight to Toronto (via Rome) or extend your stay!
